In addition, MapQuest can provide you with online FREE door-to-door, turn-by-turn directions (and large scale maps, if you wish) from any starting location to The Brewery and back again, helping you locate freeway on-ramps and off-ramps, one-way streets, and other helpful items:
Just click on the link, and when you arrive at MapQuest's
site, select the "Driving Directions" link. For starting address, of
course, enter your own home or office address (or nearest intersection),
city and state.
For your destination, enter Moulton & Main (for the intersection) and Los Angeles for the city. After a few seconds, you will have your personal directions and large scale maps to Barbara's!
After printing the directions out, click the "Reverse Route" button at the bottom of the page and it will do the same for your route back to where you started (or start a new search for a different destination).
Important: MapQuest provides detail only up to the border of The Brewery complex, so be sure to take one or both of the maps found here on Barbara's website with you the first time. If you happen to forget them, however, just proceed to the intersection of Moulton Avenue and Main Street and follow the Barbara's Bistro signs.

Once you get to the border of The Brewery Art Complex it gets just a little tricky (but only the very first time you visit).
The addresses of the individual buildings and spaces here have been assigned in a "highly creative" way, to say the least! Armed with the handy marked-up maps shown here, one by courtesy of MapQuest and one thanks to Carlson Industries, owners of the complex, and The Brewery Art Association, you'll have no problem at all. Just print them out, take them with you, and follow the colored arrows. They provide detailed driving directions into the complex and right to Barbara's door. There's usually plenty of parking just outside the restaurant and the private Brewery art colony environment is very open and attractive.
